Try a bassoon without commitment
Choosing the right instrument takes time. With our Try Before You Buy scheme you can take the time you need. Get to know our instruments in your own setting – your orchestra, your school, your home. And why not ask your teacher’s advice?
Borrow any bassoon with no obligation, and we will deliver it to you by courier for a one week trial. We will pick it up again if you decide not to buy it.
Alternatively, come to visit us. You can try as many instruments as you like, for as long as you like, in our dedicated practice room. Take full advantage of our specialist advice, with no obligation. Just make an appointment beforehand to ensure that we have the instrument(s) ready for you to play.
In order to Try Before You Buy please do the following:
- Pay for shipping: go to the web page of your selected bassoon and click the Try Before You Buy button and you can then pay for shipping for the bassoon of your choice.
- Download and print the Try Before You Buy form, fill it in and send it to us digitally with ID*.
* Please provide a photo of your passport or driving licence plus a utility bill or bank statement showing your permanent address; you can use your phone to photograph the form and ID and then email them to us as attachments.
If you need a new reed, swab, neck strap or seat strap for the trial please browse our options and add them to your shopping basket at the same time as the shipping.
Try Before You Buy applies to UK residents only - please contact us to arrange to try the bassoon in another country. We have many customers outside the UK who buy our bassoons under alternative arrangements.
