Historic Bassoons

We have a selection of historic instruments for sale comprising original bassoons from the second half of the 18th century and the 19th century and modern copies. 

We have not serviced or modified the original historic instruments unless they came to us in a playable condition having been played in the recent past, but are happy to service them if the new owner requires. The modern copies are fully serviced as per our standard range of second hand bassoons.

Please enquire about any of the instruments and we will be happy to tell you more.  All information provided on this website is provided in good faith based upon expert knowledge and consultation of the standard reference works, but should not be relied upon when making a purchasing decision. 

All benefit from our Try Before You Buy scheme (UK residents only) although the instruments not prepared for playing must not be played prior to purchase.
