This reed is made by Andrew Burn, professional bassoonist and reed maker in Switzerland.
These reeds are handmade, handcrafted and beautifully resonant. They are based on the distinctive Don Christlieb shape (West coast USA) and offer something really different to our reed range in terms of tonal qualities.
It has a dark, mellow sound and responds very well. They work straight out of the box, starting off medium and softening up with playing a little.
