Contrabassoon Transformation - gold plating photos!

This contrabassoon is undergoing a major transformation in our workshop for a customer - we have now fully gold-plated all the metalwork, and stripped the varnish from the wood!

The owner's vision for this contrabassoon is for:

• A detachable top joint for easier transportation (stage complete: see video here)
• Fully gold-plated metalwork (stage complete, video coming soon)
• A full re-finish of the wood in a natural maple colour
• Keywork and roller upgrades
• and more!
