Bassoon Technique Day with Professor Sarah Burnett

If ‘yes’, then book tickets for Gloucester’s first ever Bassoon Technique Day.

This small-group, intensive course is led by Sarah Burnett, Professor of Bassoon at the Royal College of Music in London, and organised by Peter Satchell.

The course includes:

1. Bassoon technique ‘MOT’
2. Work on posture and projection
3. Hacks for efficient practising
4. Individual consolidation time
5. Q&A to dig deeper into technique
6. Mini masterclass to revisit learning

Location: Gloucestershire Academy of Music (GAM), GL1 2JF

Date: Sunday 1 September and/or Sunday 15 September 2024 (depending on interest)

Time: 11am to 5pm

Getting there: By car via M5 (nearby day parking £4.00). By train, with a 15-minute walk from the station to GAM).
